Austyn Weiner was born in 1989 in Miami. Weiner studied photography and painting at the University of Michigan, School of Art and Design in Ann Arbor, Michgan, and Parsons School of Photography in New York, New York. The Journal Gallery is pleased to present Austyn Weiner in Tennis Elbow, Weiner’s first solo exhibition in New York. Past solo and group exhibitions include, (MID-EXPLOSION) at Bill Brady Gallery, Miami, Florid (2019); Here’s your Fucking Flower at Ibid Gallery, Los Angeles, California (2018); Wilhardt & Naud at The Lodge, Los Angeles, California (2017); and organized We The People, a group exhibition benefiting the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) at Werkärtz, Los Angeles, California (2017). Weiner lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
