MARINA ADAMS

Marina Adams was born in 1960 in Orange, New Jersey. She received her BFA from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her MFA from Columbia University in New York, New York.

Marina Adams is a 2016 recipient of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship and received the 2018 Award of Merit Medal for Painting from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

 

Her work will be featured in two forthcoming solo exhibitions at Von Bartha in S-chanf, Switzerland (July 2021) and at Stephen Friedman Gallery, London, United Kingdom (September 2021).



Adams lives in Manhattan, New York and maintains studios in Brooklyn and Parma, Italy.
